The Friends offer a number of services and programs to the Cameron Senior Center, directly or by supporting those offered by the Council on Aging.
Our Programs
The Friends of the Cameron Senior Center supports multiple programs run by the center.


Trudy's Boutique
Trudy's is a much treasured service run by Friends volunteers. It features clothing, jewelry, home goods and decorative items. Part of the fun of visiting Trudy's is finding the latest treasure!
Open to the Public: 9 - 3 Daily

Food Distribution
Friends volunteers, in co-ordination with Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, run the food distribution at the Center, twice weekly. This service is available to Westford seniors, and those from adjoining towns, over the age of 55.
Open Monday and Thursday: 1pm - Please sign up for number in lobby at 10:30am
Support for the Community
We are here to provide support and assistance to seniors and their families, offering a range of services to address various needs and concerns.
Exercise Classes
Many of the exercise programs at the Cameron are funded or partially funded by The Friends.
Support Health and Wellness Programs
Either through programs run by the Council on Aging or sponsoring a speaker, we believe in enhancing the lives of our members.
Friends Knitting Group
The knitting group is open to anyone who wants to relax with a project and enjoy a pleasant chat with new friends. Any handwork is welcome.
Please join us Wednesday afternoons, from 1 -3:30 in the library.
Computer, Cell Phone, Tablets
The Friends support classes and the use of some equipment for those interested in improving their technology skills.

Emergency Assistance
The Friends Board works with the Town of Westford social workers, helping seniors with dire emergency medical, household or other needs. Please see the social workers.
Fun Events
From the annual Gay Nineties celebration to the Holiday Luncheon, game nights or a movie, your membership in the Friends helps us support various programs at the Cameron Senior Center.
